Spotlight: National Bearded Empress returns to DC with our new regional pageant, Queen of the Mid-Atlantic Bearded Empire! Join us at the DC Improv Comedy Club where we will honor our National Northeast Bearded Queen 2024, Miliana De'Nile! Bearded drag performers from the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions will bring their best presentations of themselves to see who will be the new Queen of the Mid-Atlantic Bearded Empire and go on to compete at National Bearded Empress 2025.

About the Performers
The host of the DC Improv Drag Brunch since 2021, Vagenesis (she/they) is DC's tallest & hairiest petite woman. Vagenesis was the very first National Bearded Empress and shares her talents across the country. She has also been crowned winner of Drag Wars Season 3, winner of TikTok Drag Contest Season 1, Captain Green Lantern 2019, Mx Moco Pride 2021, winner of Park n Bark Season 3, and DC's Best At-Large performer 2024. Vagenesis brings her unique brand of comedy and charisma to each of her performances. She is an activist, advocating for all styles of drag, queer people, and all people of color.
