Spotlight: Some of the best stand-ups from the local comedy scene (and maybe a few out-of-towners) are coming to our lounge -- the perfect showroom for you to get up-close with the stars of tomorrow. This is a showcase, with several comedians performing for a total of around 90 minutes.

About the Comics
Winston Hodges (official website) is from DC by way of Richmond, Va. He is known for his southern charm and edgy wit. Winston is the host of the podcasts Host Battle, and Dead Dad Comedy Pod. You can find his award winning standup special Grieving Productively on YouTube.
Von Mychael hails from Chester, Va. He grew up influenced by popular comics like Dave Chappelle, Ellen DeGeneres, Deon Cole, and D.L. Hughley. Mychael is a 6-time winner of the Funnybone Clash of Comics, and he has opened for heavyweights in comedy such as Damon Wiliams, John Heffron, Jon Reep, Guy Torry and Tony Woods.
Eddie Morrison is a D.C. native who has performed standup comedy all over the metro area. His appearances include the DC Improv, State Theatre, and Magooby’s Jokehouse, where he was named runner-up at the 2015 New Comedian of the Year Competition.
Brittany Carney started standup in DC and is now based in New York. In addition to featuring at the DC Improv, she performs at the Kennedy Center and the Comedy Cellar. In 2020 she made her debut on Comedy Central.
Chris Alan is a stand up comedian and writer. Chris' conversational yet laid back style coupled with his quick wit keeps audiences on their toes. He's performed at Rogue Island Comedy festival, DC Underground Festival, among others. He's appeared on Laughs on Fox. He hosts a weekly podcast called Negro Please Radio. He's currently touring clubs and venues across the country.
