Spotlight: Enjoy great stand-up comedy in downtown DC! Our showcase lineups feature top talent from DC, Maryland, Virginia and beyond, performing on one of the country's most famous stages. You'll see a variety of styles and get up close with some of the stars of tomorrow. Support local talent, support local business and (most important) laugh your a** off. Showcases generally last around 90 minutes.

Featuring: Jamal Russell, Alexis Bradby, Rallo Boykins, Tatyana Guchi, D Lo (Friday-Saturday), Garrett Harvest (Sunday)

 

About the Comics

Jamal Russell

Jamal Russell is a D.C. based comedian who has been doing comedy for six years. Jamal has performed at the Ice House in L.A., Caroline's on Broadway, the Milwaukee comedy festival, the Motor City comedy festival and the Boston comedy festival. Jamal won Comedy Kumite 32 (winter 2022) at the DC Improv, and he was a finalist at Comedy Kumite XL (summer 2023).

Alexis Bradby

Originally from East Tennessee, Alexis Bradby is known for her contagious smile and youthful energy, which led to her being featured on Holey Moley (ABC), The Price is Right (CBS), and iCarly (Paramount+) In addition to stand-up, she writes for television and was the writers’ room assistant for hit shows such as iCarly and Tab Time. Alexis can be found performing regularly all over New York City.

Rallo Boykins

Comedian, writer, and Internet troll known formally as Rallo, got his start while attending the illustrious Howard University. Rallo’s wit and conversational delivery makes for an unforgettable experience that will leave your abdomen sore from laughter. Rallo’s casual approach to romantic relationships, race, and politics makes these often polarizing subjects a bit more palatable across broad audiences. Rallo has made appearances on New York's Funniest and has performed at notable comedy clubs such as Carolines on Broadway, The DC Improv, and The World Famous Comedy Store.

Tatyana Guchi

Tatyana Komaguchi a.k.a “GUCHI” is a stand-up comedian with a unique comedic style influenced by her East Coast and Southern roots. Combining storytelling and set-up-punch jokes, Tatyana delves into topics such as race, inequality and human observation, offering a thought-provoking perspective focusing on Black, Queer, and Asian issues. Tatyana's talent has garnered recognition, including participation in Netflix is a Joke Festival, Sketch Fest ‘23 & ‘24, and as a Finalist in the ABFF Because They’re Funny Comedy Festival’s Breakout Comedian Of The Year.

D Lo

Dana Lollar, aka D. Lo, hails from Baltimore MD. Always a jokester, DLo stumbled into the comedy world, in Nov 2015, after a leg injury had her out of work. After countless open mics, she began to rise in the Baltimore comedy scene as a force to be reckoned with. Known for her quick wit and comebacks, she is definitely a spitfire on the mic. In her short comedy career she has won more than 15 competitions, been a finalist in Magoobys New Comedian of the Year Competition, headlined various shows in Baltimore, DC, Delaware, Ohio, NYC, Las Vegas, and Jamaica. She is the unanimous winner of Comedy Wars DMV and has been a finalist in Kevin Hart's "Hart of the City" on Comedy Central. Most recently she was a feature act in the 2019 Black Girl Giggles Festival, 2019 Baltimore Comedy Festival and the 2019 DC Comedy Festival. Known as the "roast queen" of Baltimore, and a improv master, she's sure to leave a lasting impression. D. Lo won Comedy Kumite 35.2 (fall 2022) at the DC Improv and was a finalist at the 2024 Comedy Kumite XL.

Garrett Harvest

Garrett Harvest is a comic out of Baltimore City who was born and raised in New Jersey. His unique life growing up in the mean streets of the suburbs gave him the ability to pick apart the simplest things that everyday people often overlook. Garrett Harvest is a sign that we are not all doomed.
