About the Comics
Joey Friedman began performing at her parent’s dinner table in Monsey, NY. As a cancer survivor, she has nothing to fear and delivers jokes with an unshakable frankness. She produces shows in the Washington, DC, area.

Alex Castagne is a standup comedian based out of New York City. Alex has been doing standup since the age of 18, and since then had performed in comedy clubs such as the DC improv, Richmond Funny Bone (where he is a 3x winner of Clash of the Comics), Levity Live, the Charlotte Comedy Zone, and more. Alex has worked with nationally touring headliners like Mark Normand, Sam Morril, Michael Rapaport, and a guy who had a puppet. Alex’s epic sense of humor and non threatening body puts audiences at ease and makes for a great night out. Alex won Comedy Kumite 35.1 (fall 2022) at the DC Improv, and he was a finalist at Comedy Kumite XL (summer 2023).

Mike Kurtz is a shameless anecdotal comedian representing PG County. He’s been on the comedy scene since 2018, both on the stage and behind the scenes. Mike won Comedy Kumite 37.1 (winter 2023) at the DC Improv.

Paris Sashay (official website) is a comedienne, actor, writer and producer from Washington, DC, but currently living in New York. Her command as a seasoned storyteller makes even the mundane experience feel like an adventure. Audiences across the country fall in love with her infectious laugh, wit, and style.
Nothing can stop Paris’ ascension to stardom, unequivocally one of the funniest rising comediennes with highlight performances at Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal as a 'New Face', Brooklyn Comedy Festival, BET 50 Central, and 'Unprotected Sets' on EPIX. Also, with performances at The Howard Theatre ,The Kennedy Center, Caroline’s on Broadway, Hollywood Improv, Comedy Store and The Comedy Cellar. She triumphantly debuted at the DC Improv only days after losing several teeth in a brutal attack by a toxic man sexually harassing her on the street. In 2016, Paris launched the #TeethAndTittiesCampaign raising awareness about violence against women.
Paris has worked with Michael Che, Dick Gregory, Wanda Sykes, Lil Rel, Domonique, Jen Kirkman, Jay Chandrasekhar , Tony Roberts and Roy Wood Jr. offering her piercing insight on issues of the day.
She has been a panel member on “Wild ’N Out Wednesday’s with Roland Martin” on TV One, BET, Comedy Central, EPIX and interviewed on Fox 5 DC, NBC 4 Washington, and WUSA 9 regarding her assault. Additionally, Paris frequently serves as a motivational speaker, having the honor of being the 2013 and 2017 Commencement Speaker at The Foundation School in Gaithersburg, MD.

Eddie Bryant is a comedian, writer, actor and producer known for his perfect sense of timing and delivery. He has appeared on “Martin Lawrence Presents 1st Amendment Stand Up” (STARZ Network), “One Mic Stand with Kevin Hart” ( BET Network) and “Laff Mobb’s We Got Next” (Aspire Network).

Pearl Rose is a stand-up comedian, writer and performer originally from Minnesota. She has performed up and down the East Coast at venues such as the DC Improv and the Kennedy Center and has opened for Kelsey Cook, Jon Dore and Phil Hanley. She has been included in DC’s District of Laughs Festival and Limestone Comedy Festival, and was featured as “Best of the Fest” at 10K Laughs in 2023. Pearl has been featured in the Washington Post’s The Lily and was named one of Racket MN’s “Comics to Watch 2023”.
