SERVER: Average shift length: 4 hours on weekdays, 6-8 hours on weekends. This is a fast-paced setting with high-volume sales, great for friendly and hard-working individuals. At least 1-2 years of experience as a server is required. Average tips can fall in the range of $35 - $45 an hour.

FOOD RUNNER: Average shift length: 5 hours on weekdays, 7-9 hours on weekends. This is a fast-paced setting with high-volume sales, great for friendly and hard-working individuals. Food runners help set up the venue at the start of a shift and break down the venue at the end of the night. Great tips.

DOOR HOST: Average shift length: 4 hours on weekdays, 6-8 hours on weekends. Hosts escort customers to their seats before the show, and during the show they monitor the showroom and handle hecklers or disruptive patrons when necessary. Hosts must be friendly, comfortable dealing with the public and willing to work wherever needed.

BOX OFFICE: Average shift length: 4 hours on weekdays, 6 hours on weekends. Box office staff check in customers arriving for shows, and they also sell tickets as needed. Box office workers must be great at at handling customer interactions both in person and over the phone. As the first impression many customers have of the Improv, a pleasant demeanor is a must.

LINE COOK: Average shift length: 6 hours on weekdays, 6-8 hours on weekends. High volume in bursts, but not a complicated menu. Some prep work required. Must like working with others!

DISHWASHER: Average shift length: 6 hours on weekdays, 6-8 hours on weekends. High volume in bursts. Must be willing to help out other departments where needed.
